Even though we’re still in the spring, it’s never too early for some preseason predictions.
On Monday, the folks over at Athlon Sports unveiled their SEC Football 2023 All-Conference Team members for the upcoming season. Comprised of four All-SEC Teams, a total of seven Kentucky Wildcats helped make up the roster, with one of them (Barion Brown) having his name listed twice for multiple positions. While no Wildcats cracked the First-Team list, a handful did make the Second-Team.
Althon states that these All-SEC Teams “are based on how players will perform in 2023” and that overall team strength does not factor into the selections.
