John Calipari is giving away scholarship offers to five-star recruits like pieces of leftover Halloween candy.
During an official visit to Kentucky over the weekend, five-star class of 2023 small forward Kwame “KJ” Evans Jr. announced through Twitter that he received an offer from the Wildcats. His trip began on Thursday and concluded earlier on Sunday. Evans was in Lexington to watch Kentucky beat Miles College on Friday night in Rupp Arena.
The 6-foot-8, 190-pounder will play his junior season of high school at Montverde Academy down in Florida. Evans was previously at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in Maryland.
