John Calipari continues to attack the recruiting trail this summer. The Kentucky men’s basketball head coach has traveled all over the globe to watch his top prospects the last few months. One event, in particular, the 2022 U17 FIBA World Cup, brought him to Spain where he watched Team USA dominate the competition en route to another gold medal. One of the players Calipari was watching must’ve been extra impressive.
On Wednesday evening, Pro Insight’s Andrew Slater first reported that five-star class of 2024 point guard, Johnuel “Boogie” Fland, has received a scholarship from Kentucky.
