The Frederick Douglass High School-to-Kentucky Wildcats pipeline stays strong, as 4-star wide receiver Dane Key has committed to UK. Key chose the Wildcats at a ceremony at high school over over South Carolina, Oregon, Western Kentucky, and Michigan.
Key is ranked as the No. 221 prospect in the country by 247 Sports, the No. 32 wide receiver, and the No. 1 player in the state of Kentucky for the Class of 2022. He held additional offers from Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and West Virginia among others.
Key’s commitment to Kentucky will give the Wildcats size at the wide receiver position, something that they currently lack.
