Glen Burnie (Md.) Good Counsel four-star athlete Neeo Avery is down to six schools in his recruitment, he announced Wednesday afternoon.
Avery is the No. 223 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 8 athlete and the No. 5 junior player in Maryland.
Among his top six are: Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, Ole Miss and Oregon.
After committing to the Penn State in December, Avery decided to back off that pledge in late March following a surge in interest from other schools.
