4-star '24 PG Tahaad Pettiford reminds John Calipari of De'Aaron Fox

Tahaad Pettiford will very soon have a chance to contend for the position of top rising junior point guard in the country.

The 6-foot-0, 160-pound floor general is a class of 2024 prospect out of Hudson Catholic (NJ) High School who recently announced an offer from Kentucky earlier this month. Pettiford is considered a four-star recruit and the No. 28 overall player in his class, per On3’s ranking system. He’s self-described as a tireless worker who uses lightning-quick speed to leave defenders in his wake. Pettiford makes up for his lack of size through athleticism and sneaking his way to the rim.
