Kentucky football has added its first wide receiver to the 2024 recruiting class.

On Saturday, three-star pass-catcher David Washington Jr. announced his commitment to the Wildcats. The 6-foot, 180-pound prospect out of Philadelphia (PA) St. Joseph’s Prep School chose Kentucky over offers from the likes of Virginia, Louisville, Wisconsin, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Maryland, Penn State, Boston College, and West Virginia.

Washington is considered the No. 804 overall rising senior in the country according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He is the 14th commitment for the Wildcats’ 2024 class.

Washington took just two official visits during the month of June: Virginia (June 2) and Kentucky (June 5).
