This is significant. Devin Smith will take an official visit to Kentucky this weekend for the Wildcats’ 2023 season opener on Saturday against Ball State.
Smith is a 6-foot-1, 215-pound linebacker out of Brunswick (GA) High who is considered the No. 606 overall prospect in the class of 2024 according to the On3 Industry Ranking — good enough for a mid-level three-star rating. Smith announced the news of his official visit through social media on Friday morning. He’ll be in Lexington starting today (Sept. 1) until Sunday (Sept. 3).
It was nearly two months ago now that Smith trimmed his list of college options down to five: Kentucky, Alabama, South Carolina, LSU, and Auburn.
