247 predicts who gets added to Cats’ SEC schedule

There were mixed emotions last week when the SEC announced their intentions to play a 10-game schedule that included conference opponents only.

Fans and players were clearly excited about then plan to move forward with football but also had some adverse reactions to removing nonconference opponents, essentially eliminating rivalry week.

From a Kentucky standpoint you could look at this in two different ways. Sure, it stings deep coming to the realization that the UK-UL football game doesn’t look like it’s going to happen in 2020. Not only are the Cardinals their biggest rival, but the Cats have busted out the whooping stick the last two years and there was no reason to think this year would have been any different.
