Following their first win of 2020, the Kentucky Wildcats had two players earn weekly SEC awards.
Outside linebacker Jordan Wright was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week, while punter Max Duffy won the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week honor. Both players were instrumental in Kentucky’s 24-2 win over Mississippi State on Saturday.
Wright, a redshirt junior hailing from Four Lauderdale (FL), recorded six tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, a pass breakup and a pick-six in the fourth quarter that sealed the win for Kentucky.
