It’s been a few days since Kentucky went to Baton Rouge and beat LSU 79-76, but I’m still processing my whirlwind trip to the Pelican State. By now, you’ve ready plenty of recaps of the game, but here’s my take on the massive win, my first visit to Baton Rouge, and 24 hours in New Orleans, which was capped off with an incredible Mardi Gras parade.
Immanuel Quickley is a tough, tough man
Nick Richards is UK’s poster boy for the SEC Player of the Year race, but Immanuel Quickley deserves a campaign of his own. Tuesday was Quickley’s 15th consecutive game in double figures, the most by a Kentucky player since Malik Monk’s 30-game streak during the 2016-17 season.
