BRYAN, Texas – Kent State women's golf's season came to a close on Saturday as they finished 8th at NCAA Regionals, two strokes shy of advancing on to the NCAA Championship.
The Golden Flashes shot 10-over on the day to finish at 881, 17-over through the three rounds of the event. Georgia, Arizona, UCLA, Furman, Miami and Texas will all advance as the top six finishers.
Wad Phaewchimplee had the best performance at the event, finishing in 17th place after a final round of even par to end even overall.
