SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – Saturday's round at the women's golf NCAA National Championship has been cancelled due to inclement weather. Due to the change, the format of the tournament was adjusted.
The stroke play portion of the tournament is reduced to 54 holes, with 18 to be played on Sunday and Monday each. Instead of a Sunday cut to 15 teams, all teams in the field will advance to the final round of stroke play Monday, airing live on the Golf Channel.
The top eight teams after 54 holes will be seeded in match play and the top scorer will be honored as the individual medalist.
