Women's Golf concludes fall season with 4th place finish at Cardinal Cup

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – The No. 16-ranked Kent State Women's Golf team concluded its fall season on Sunday by tying for fourth place at the Cardinal Cup.

On what was a roughing day for scoring for all 15 teams in the field, the Golden Flashes shot 310 in the final round. The 22-over-par day put the Flashes 31-over for the tournament (293-292-310–895) and into a tie for fourth with No. 46 East Carolina. Tournament host Louisville claimed the team title. The 41st-ranked Cardinals shot 13-over par over three rounds for a an eight-shot win over No. 15 Illinois.
