KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's basketball team has returned to campus as preparation for its upcoming 10-day trip to Greece is scheduled to begin on Friday.
Head coach Todd Starkey and the Golden Flashes will depart for Athens on Saturday, Aug. 5 and return to campus on Monday, Aug. 14. In addition to an opportunity to play two exhibition contests, the trip will provide the student-athletes with a unique cultural experience.
"This trip to Greece presents an incredible opportunity for our student-athletes to experience something that they will remember the rest of their lives," Starkey said.
