Women’s Basketball Announces Roster Additions

KENT, Ohio — Women's basketball head coach Todd Starkey announced the addition of two student-athletes, one of a familiar face and the other a first-year player, to the roster for the 2017-18 season on Wednesday (Sept. 27).

McKenna Stephens has officially returned for her fourth season with the Golden Flashes, while Margaux Eibel joins the team as a walk-on.

Stephens' return gives Kent State one of the most veteran frontcourts in the Mid-American Conference. The 6'0" forward has played in 78 games for the Blue and Gold over the last five semesters after transferring to Kent State in January 2014 from Michigan State, where she was enrolled on a softball scholarship.
