SPARTANBURG, SC- Wofford rallied once again on Saturday, scoring the game's final five runs in a 7-3 setback for the Golden Flashes.
Joe Whitman got the start and delivered his second quality start of the season. The lefty pitched into the sixth and allowed four runs, two earned against six hits, two walks and a pair of strikeouts. The two earned runs came in the first as Wofford got the first two batters of the game on base and scored them on a sacrifice fly and a two-out double.
The Flashes would rally back to take the lead via the long ball.
