CLEVELAND- Junior catcher, Brody Williams, has earned Mid-American Conference Player of the Week honors, the league office announced on Monday.
Williams swung a hot bat last week in the middle of the Golden Flashes batting order and propelled them to a 3-1 record on the week.
The Flashes' backstop recorded multiple hits in all four games for Kent State last week. The Eddyville Ky. Native started the week out with a bang going 2-3 in Tuesday's win over Pitt-Johnstown recording two hits, one home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored.
The Kent State backstop got off to a hot start over the weekend in Muncie going 3-5 in the series opener with two home runs, five runs batted in, and two runs scored.
