Kent State will play three matches at the M.A.C. Center this weekend to open the 2016 home volleyball schedule.
The Golden Flashes Classic will be held on Friday. The three-match round-robin tournament also features Boise State and Wright State. Kent State (2-1) will look to continue its recent dominance at the home tournament, as the Flashes have captured the tournament championship each of the past three seasons while going 8-1.
Kent State takes on Tennessee at 6 p.m. Saturday night to wrap-up the weekend. The Volunteers are the first Power 5 conference opponent to play at the M.
