CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Kent State volleyball team has been picked to finish second in the Mid-American Conference East Division in to the conference's preseason coaches poll, which was released Monday morning. The Golden Flashes led all schools with three players — junior Kelsey Bittinger, junior Challen Geraghty and senior Katarina Kojic — voted to the 13-member Preseason All-MAC Teams, as selected by the league's 12 head coaches.
Kent State received two votes to win the 2016 MAC Championship in DeKalb, Ill. and receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, trailing only Miami (5 votes) and Northern Illinois (4 votes).
