Kent State tied for second among 13 teams for the most players selected to the 2015 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Football Team. Twelve Golden Flashes were recognized by the conference office Tuesday for their efforts on the field and in the classroom.
Seniors Jordan Italiano (Canfield, Ohio) and Matt Dellinger (Clarkston, Mich.) were among nine conference players to become three-time Academic All-MAC selections. Juniors Nick Cuthbert (Chesterland, Ohio) and Nate Holley (Toledo, Ohio) and senior Chad Bushley (Berea, Ohio) were repeat selections.
