OXFORD, Ohio – Kent State's track and field programs wrapped up the opening week of the 2017 outdoor season at the Miami Duals Saturday.
Kent State women's team captured two victories on the day, one of which went to Rebecca Leppelmeier in the discus with a mark of 48.60m (159' 5"). Taking third was Jai'lyn Mosley at 48.05m (157' 7"), followed by Victoria Ross in 10th at 40.00m (131' 2").
The Golden Flashes' 4x100m relay team of Kayla Seymour, Jorian Ordway, Mi'Angel Daniels and Bennisha Nunn captured the other event title with a winning time of 46.
