OXFORD, Ohio – Kent State's offense could not find a rhythm Saturday afternoon and fell to Miami, 3-2, at the Miami Softball Stadium. The Golden Flashes (20-18, 6-8 MAC) had a 2-1 lead entering the bottom of the sixth, but the RedHawks (17-19, 6-8) clubbed a go-ahead double with two outs to win the game.
"We had another nice outing from Madi Huck and congrats to Brenna Brownfield on her first career home run," said Kent State head coach Eric Oakley. "Credit to Miami for finding a way to grind out two of the three games.
