Tiesing Leads Flashes to Run Rule Victory on Tuesday

KENT- The Kent State Golden Flashes baseball team closed out their nine-game home stand with a 12-2 run rule victory over the Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats on Tuesday evening at Schoonover Stadium.

The Flashes ran all over the Mountain Cats on the base paths stealing 11 bases on the night. Max Humphrey and Landon Tiesing led the way with three stolen bases a piece, Luke Matthews and Micah Rienstra-Kiracofe were right behind them with two a piece, and Brody Williams had one stolen base.

Sawyer Solitaria broke the scoreless tie in the bottom of the second with a solo shot over the wall in left field.
