Three Flashes Named to Hampshire Honor Society

Three Kent State football players were named to the National Football Foundation's 2019 Hampshire Honor Society on Wednesday. Defensive end Theo Eboigbe (Lithonia, Ga.) and offensive linemen Chase Van Hoef (Grand Haven, Mich.) and Mike Marinelli (Allison Park, Pa.) carried on the Golden Flashes annual tradition of placing multiple players on the list.

Hampshire Honor Society members must be a starter or a significant contributor, in one's last year of competition, achieve a 3.2 cumulative grade point average throughout their entire course of undergraduate study and meet all NCAA-mandated progress towards degree requirements and graduation.
