Julian Edelman will soon be a Kent State graduate.
On Saturday, Edelman will join the 5,301 students graduating from Kent State.
Edelman, 31, spent three years at Kent State, throwing for almost 5,000 yards and 30 touchdowns as the Flashes' quarterback from 2006-2008. Edelman never completed his degree, leaving Kent State after his senior season to train for the NFL. Edelman is listed in the student directory as a senior integrated studies major.
This Saturday, I will be walking with my fellow Kent State graduates. Completing what I started back in 06. I want to set a great example for my daughter, and complete a promise I made to my parents over 10 years ago.
