Ian Holt led the Kent State men’s golf team in the individual rankings in the General Hackler Championship, tying for 15th while the Flashes placed sixth out of 15 teams.
Gisli Sveinbergsson tied for 35th in the tournament with three other athletes, including teammate Chase Johnson. Josh Gilkison tied for 45th, Will Kurtz tied for 51st and Bjarki Petursson tied for 53rd in the tournament.
Holt moved up 23 spots throughout the tournament after a rough first round. He ended the final day at -5.
Johnson built up more momentum at the end as well and moved up 10 spots in the rankings after placing 45th after the first day.
