The Kent State women’s golf team was fourth at the end of the first round at the Evans Derby Experience hosted by Auburn Univeristy.
That would be the Flashes highest position at the end of a round.
Kent State placed sixth out of 14 teams with final score of 21-over-par/
Coach Greg Robertson thought the Flashes did good but could have done better.
“I felt like we held our own, but we didn’t do our best,” Robertson said. “I think if we played our best, we could have beat everybody. We’re capable of doing so.
