KENT, OHIO- Kent State senior golfer Karoline Stormo has been named the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week for her efforts in leading the Golden Flashes to a team victory at the UCF Challenge hosted by Central Florida.
Stormo had rounds of 73, 69 and 68 over the three-day event to finish fourth overall at six-under par. She was the Flashes' top individual finisher as Kent State won for the fourth time in five events over the 2019-20 fall and spring seasons.
Ranked No. 15 in the country, Stormo opened the tournament firing three birdies in a row on the back nine.
