WACO, Tx. – The Kent State softball team (6-4) dropped its final game of the Baylor Invitational to North Texas, 9-0.
The Mean Green (10-4) took the Baylor Invitational championship by outhitting Kent State, 10-2.
Sophomores Maria Cegledy and Kaitlyn Miller each were named to the Baylor Invitational All-Tournament Team.
"We have to work on getting better starts to games," said Kent State head coach Eric Oakley. "Overall we had a good weekend against good competition. We will continue to look to building with our team next week.
