KENT, Ohio – All four members of the 2021 senior class who will conclude their Kent State careers later this month provided hits in a 3-2 victory on Sunday afternoon to finish a sweep of visiting Central Michigan at the Diamond at Dix.
The Golden Flashes (20-21, 16-11 MAC) trailed 1-0 on a solo homer in the top of the second but struck for a pair of runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the lead. Senior Alexis Taube and redshirt senior Olivia Sborlini singled and moved into scoring position on a sac bunt for the second out in the frame.
