Kent State women's soccer was looking to extend their winning streak to 11 games Friday, but a strong Central Michigan University team held the Flashes to a tie.
Junior defender Jamie Eiben scored her first goal of the season in the 60th minute to put the Flashes up 1-0.
Central Michigan responded less than four minutes later when a cross from senior midfielder Eliza Van de Kerkhove found its way past Flashes goalkeeper, Ashleah McDonald.
A tie at the end of regulation sent the game into overtime. Both teams had their fair share of chances but neither was able to capitalize.
