YPSILANTI, Mich.- Kent State soccer played their second straight 110-minute match on Sunday, tying Eastern Michigan 0-0 from Scicluna Field. The Golden Flashes remain unbeaten in their last 12 matches and move to 10-1-2 (6-0-2 MAC) on the season while the Eagles move to 5-8-3 (2-4-1 MAC).
The Golden Flashes had several good looks at goal during the match, totaling six shots on goal but were unable to beat the Eastern Michigan keeper. Jenna Hellstrom led the Golden Flashes with six shots, three of which were on goal.
Ashleah McDonald played all 110 minutes in goal for the Golden Flashes making three saves to earn her fourth shutout of the season.
