KENT, Ohio – The Kent State soccer team (12-5-1, 8-2-0 MAC) fell 3-1 at the hands of the Bowling Green Falcons (11-5-1, 6-3-1 MAC) on Sunday afternoon at Dix Stadium. The match was tied early in the second period until Bowling Green, the highest scoring offense in the Mid-American Conference, netted two goals.
"It has to be a learning lesson for us, we have to build from here on out, and we have a lot ahead of us," said Kent State head coach Rob Marinaro. "It has to be the idea that this is a mistake we made on the day not the entire season.
