CLEVELAND - The Kent State University women's soccer team had 10 student-athletes named to the 2017 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
In addition, Sierra Henderson-Muschett, Karli Paracca and Amanda Reed were honored for holding a perfect 3.0 GPA. On the pitch, Kent State matched its academic performance by winning the 2017 MAC Regular Season Championship.
