Kent State recently announced the addition of Shawn Scott to its wrestling program as an assistant coach. Scott brings significant Mid-American Conference experience as both a wrestler and a graduate assistant.
"We're very excited to have Shawn in our room," Head Coach Jim Andrassy said. "He's smart and energetic and he'll be able to work with everyone from 174 on up. It should really help out Kyle Conel, our heavyweights and our 184-pounders."
Scott helped guide five Eastern Michigan wrestlers to the NCAA Championships this past March, while working with 2018 MAC Coach of the Year David Bolyard.
