MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Kevin Zabo and Jaylin Walker led a second-half surge as Kent State battled back to capture an 84-76 victory at Central Michigan on Saturday and secure the Golden Flashes' first road win in Mid-American Conference play.
Zabo's 22-point performance marked the senior guard's fifth consecutive game of 20-plus points while Walker poured in 16 of his 21 in the final 20 minutes, helping the Flashes overcome a deficit that reached 14 points during the second half.
After going into halftime down 41-27, Kent State quickly took control after returning to the floor.
