KENT- The Golden Flashes continue to rake in All-America awards as pitchers Joe Whitman and Mitchell Scott have added honors from The National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the American College Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and Perfect Game.
Scott earned second-team All-America honors from the NCBWA while Whitman was named Third-Team All-America by the ABCA. Both pitchers earned a spot on the Perfect Game All-America teams, with Whitman grabbing second team honors and Scott being named to the third team.
Whitman and Scott become the first Golden Flashes to earn ABCA and Perfect Game All-America nods since Eric Lauer was named to both first teams in 2016.
