Regular Season Ends With 36 Wins
Flashes will start post-season play Thursday in Avon
OXFORD, OHIO – The Golden Flashes fell in the rubber match of a three-game series Saturday afternoon to a Miami team desperate to claim the final tournament bye.
The game – which meant little to KSU beside bragging rights and the chance at 40 wins – flipped in the fifth when MU scored four runs after two men were out. At one point, Kent State led 2-0 after a run scored on a passed ball and another on a Michael Turner sacrifice fly.
