CLEVELAND – Kent State University men's golfer Bjarki Petursson earned his second MAC Men's Golfer of the Week honor, as announced Friday.
Petursson finished the Boilermaker Invitational with his second tournament title this season. He finished the tournament with a score of 4-under par 212, ending the tournament with a round of 70 Sunday. He shot a 73 in round one, and put himself in title contention in round two with a score of 69.
Conditions through most of the tournament were brutal, but the 3-round tournament was Petursson's second best career score in relation to par.
