JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Gabby Bailey and Leah Pasqualetti qualified for the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships as the Kent State women's track and field team had four student-athletes in action at the NCAA East Preliminary Round on Thursday.
Leah Pasqualetti got the day started for the Golden Flashes by punching her ticket to Eugene, Oregon in the pole vault. After passing on the first two bars of the competition, Pasqualetti cleared her first attempts at 13'-4.25" and 13'-8.25". She was unable to clear the bar at 14'-0", which would have tied her own school record set on May 16.
