ST. GEORGE, Utah - Sophomore Pimnipa Panthong (Nakhon Sawon, Thailand) earned medalist honors at the BYU at Entrada Classic, while No. 18 Kent State finished second in the team standings Tuesday at Entrada at Snow Canyon. Panthong's round three 70 put her at 8-under for the tournament, two strokes ahead of BYU's Kendra Dalton.
The host Cougars moved from 4-over to even par in their final two holes with birdies from different players. The Golden Flashes also finished strong with three birdies on their final two holes, coming up just two strokes off the lead at 2-over (866) for the tournament.
