Kent State's Pimnipa Panthong has been named the Mid-American Conference's Women's Golfer of the Week after finishing tied for fourth individually at the Cardinal Cup.
The sophomore from Nakhon Sawan, Thailand shot rounds of 74-73-74 for a 5-over-par total of 221 at the 6,250-yard, par-72 University of Louisville Golf Club. The event featured six of the top 50 teams in the nation, including the Golden Flashes. KSU finished fourth as a team at 31-over.
"It was a good, solid finish for Pim to end the fall," said Kent State Women's coach Greg Robertson.
