AUGUSTA, Ga.- Junior Kent State women's golfer Pimnipa Panthong is tied for third following the first two rounds of the inaugural Augusta National Women's Amateur. The junior is among 30 golfers who have advanced to Saturday's final round at famed Augusta National.
Panthong posted a 1-under 71 on Wednesday and was tied for eighth at the end of the day. She overcame a trio of bogeys before spending the rest of her first round in red numbers, with birdies at No. 4, No. 5, and No. 7.
On Thursday, Panthong climbed the leaderboard and finished with a 2-under 70 score.
