The University of Akron’s Brad Ruhaak (soccer) and Hannah Plybon (basketball) and Kent State’s Lukas Burch (baseball) and Larissa Lurken (basketball) were among 24 Mid-American Conference athletes to be presented the Medal of Excellence at the conference’s honors dinner ceremony on Wednesday.
The Medal of Excellence is presented annually to one male and female from each school in each conference who have a minimum 3.50 GPA and have exhibited athletic excellence, leadership and service.
