The University of Akron men’s and women’s track and field teams had 23 athletes named to 2017 Academic All-Mid-American Conference teams.
Adam Alexander, Tevin Brown, Adam Downing, Preston Fillman, Malik Hudson, Sean Poholski, Curtis Richardson, Anthony Young and Dan Zupan were named to the men’s team.
Mackenzie Andrews, Morgan Buckley, Weronika Gaudyn, Michalla Gordon, Cynthia Haas, Elizabeth Mosier, Tarike Osuobeni, Dara Parry, Rebecca Pietsch, Ana Martin-Sacristan, Jackie Siefring, Tara Snipes, Olivia Snyder and Becky Szabo were named to the women’s team.
