The University of Akron women’s swimming and diving team continued its dominance of the Mid-American Conference championships with several outstanding performances in the second day of the four-day tournament at Bowling Green.
The Zips have the overall lead with a score of 315.50, followed by Buffalo with a score of 198. Eastern Michigan is in third place with a score of 197.50, Bowling Green sits in fourth with a score of 160 and Miami rounds out the top five with a score of 147.
Freshman Madison Myers set a meet record in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:58.
