University of Akron offensive coordinator A.J. Milwee was named to the American Football Coach’s Association (AFCA) 30 Under 30 Coaches’ Leadership Institute.
The program is aimed at training future leaders in the coaching profession and will emphasize responsible influence, ethical behavior and the development of today’s student-athlete.
The 30 participants, all 30 and under, will meet in San Antonio, Texas, for a full day of interactive lectures on topics including ethics, leadership, NCAA rules financial management and player safety.
Milwee, 29, is in his fourth season with the Zips and is the second-youngest coordinator in the FBS.
