On the record: UA men’s golf team tied for 15th at Hootie at Bulls Bay

The University of Akron men’s golf team finished the second round of the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate Monday in Awendaw, S.C., tied for 15th place with a score of 20 over.

UA freshman Elliot Grayson had a 3-over 75 in the second round to sit tied for 45th place overall at 4 over.

Junior J.B Williams carded a team-best 1-under 71 second-round score and was 50th at 5 over.

Senior Louis Birchall was 53rd after shooting a 7-over 79 in the second round, followed by sophomore George Baylis and senior Ryan Harris, who each had a 4-over 76 in the second round and are 57th and 72nd, respectively.
