On the record: UA golfers tied for fifth at Wexford Plantation Ingtercollegiate; Zips win MAC titles in track and field, swimming

The University of Akron men’s golf team is tied for fifth after the first two rounds of the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C. The Zips are tied with Mercer seven strokes behind co-leaders South Carolina-Aiken and Radford. Akron is 19 over after rounds of 297 and 298.

J.B. Williams carded rounds of 71 and 73 to finish the day at even-par. The Akron senior is tied with two others in sixth place on the individual leaderboard.
